The Chicago State University Presidential search has concluded and Ms. Zaldwaynaka "Z" Scott has been appointed to be the University's next president. Ms. Scott has been an Equity Partner in the Chicago office of Foley & Lardner LLP, a national law firm, and has over 30 years of diverse leadership, management and legal experience, including service on the Chicago State University Board as Vice-Chair from 2010-2013.
Marshall University President Jerome A. Gilbert today announced that Dr. Jaime (pronounced “Hi-meh”) R. Taylor, dean of the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics at Austin Peay State University, has been named Marshall’s next provost and senior vice president for academic affairs. Graceland University has selected Dr. Jill Rhea as their new Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty. Dr. Rhea is currently the Dean of Online, Site and Graduate Programs along with a Professor of Communication Studies for Buena Vista University.
Dr. Radhika Seshan will become the Dean of the College of Extended Studies at San Diego State University. Dr. Seshan has been Associate Dean of Business Development and Chief Operating Officer at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Extension, since June 2016.
The Saint Xavier University search committee has appointed Dr. James M. MacLaren as the new provost of the university. Dr. MacLaren serves as the Dean of Newcomb-Tulane College at Tulane University.
The Louisiana Board of Regents unanimously selected Dr. Kim Hunter Reed as the ninth Commissioner of Higher Education. Dr. Reed currently serves as Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Higher Education.

The Nazareth College search committee has appointed Dr. Kenneth Rhee to be the dean of the school of management at the college. Dr. Rhee comes from the University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse as the dean of the college of business administration.
The Texas Woman's University search committee has appointed Jason Tomlinson as the vice president for finance and administration/cfo of the university. Mr. Tomlinson comes to Texas Woman’s University having served most recently as Associate Vice President for Finance and Business Affairs at the University of Louisville and in the CFO role for the University of Louisville Foundations, Inc.

The York College of Pennsylvania search committee has appointed Dr. Nezam Al-Nsair as the inaugural dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions. He will join the College in July. Al-Nsair is the current chair and director of the Department of Nursing at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio, where he is a professor of nursing.
